From student presentations, to lectures, to reading assignments, and so much more, teachers today have a wide variety of methods at their disposal to facilitate learning in the classroom. For elementary school children, group work has been shown to be one strategy that is particularly effective. The peer-to-peer intervention supports children in developing cognitively, emotionally, behaviorally, and socially. Group work encourages children to expand their perspectives on the world.

To reduce child poverty, increase EITC participation

To reduce child poverty, increase EITC participation | Things and Stuff | Scoop.it
In 2019, the federal government disbursed $61 billion through the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), considered one of the most effective programs for reducing child poverty and promoting economic mobility among low-income families. Yet each year, one out of every five eligible workers misses out on this valuable tax benefit. Outreach is critical to ensure that working families get the support they deserve. The EITC is a federal tax credit designed to help working families support themselves and their children while also encouraging workforce participation. The income limit and maximum credit varies by marital status and the number of children in the family (see table below).

This came across my email.  Please forward to families that might benefit.
